Also called Maps and Mapping: A Firefighter’s Lifeline. The compositions for the gates are comprised of the collaged shapes of cul-de-sacs found in the surrounding neighborhood. Commissioned for Firehouse #156 in Santa Clarita, the gates create a visual and symbolic connection between the firehouse and the community.
